Introduced in 1952 as a pilot's calculator worn on the wrist, the Navitimer built its reputation on the rotating circular slide rule that let aviators work out fuel burn and unit conversions mid-flight, and the resulting dial remains one of the most instantly recognisable in watchmaking; this configuration pairs a 43mm stainless steel case with a bidirectional slide-rule bezel in 18k red gold and a bronze dial whose warm tone sits beautifully against the rose gold applied indices, hands and the black chronograph registers, all driven by the in-house COSC-certified Caliber 01 automatic chronograph with roughly 70 hours of reserve. This 2018 example is offered in Very Good condition with light honest wear to the case and bracelet, a crisp turning bezel and sharp slide rule scales, and it has just returned from a fresh service by our in-house watchmakers running strong across all chronograph functions; it arrives as a full set and is backed by our own 1 Year Movement Warranty.
